S2 Immobiliser/AlarmApril 2002As of late April 2002, the Elise S2 alarm system was changed to the Cobra 8581.
LaunchThe immobiliser installed as standard on all cars including the base specification is the Meta M36T and is Thatcham category 2. The optional alarm system fitted to the Race Tech and Sport Touring cars is the Meta M99T system and is Thatcham category 1. Both are listed on the Thatcham site.
